As my animal Reiki practice continues I strive to find tools that will beneficially enhance how animals respond to receiving Reiki. I have found through the use of music, hand placements, oils, essences, crystals & gemstones, that Reiki can be enhanced and my animal patients feel more comfortable receiving Reiki treatments.
The use of crystals to enhance healing dates back to at about 1600 BC, when their was a written reference for their use on an ancient Egyptian papyrus. Through many notations throughout time there is no doubt that crystals & gemstones have individual resonant energy properties, that help aid in therapeutic effects for animals and humans.
Some animals respond more favorably at first to the use of crystals & gemstones than others. I recommend giving a few Reiki treatments without the gemstones & crystals at first, so that the animal can become used to the basic energy emitted. The use of gemstones & crystals intensify the frequency and flow of Reiki to the animals chakras and meridians. Once you receive a favorable response from your client, then you may use the crystals & gemstones to promote more effective and efficient Reiki treatment session. The treatments will most likely last for a shorter period of time, and your client will show favorable signs that Reiki is balancing out their system sooner.
If you would like more information, or have any questions about how to incorporate crystals & gemstones with your Reiki practice for animals please let me know and I would love to help. Here is a quick guide to some gemstones & crystals that have been beneficial with my Reiki treatments, and the corresponding Chakra that you can associate with each stone.

Through my Reiki practice journey I have been asked numerous times by clients, “Would combining Reiki with Acupuncture be a winning combination for animals?” After much discussion with other practitioners, I find that Reiki is unanimously a beneficial aid in treating to the source of the problem, as well as guiding the practitioner performing the acupuncture.
Reiki and acupuncture are based along similar lines in that they treat the flow of energy or Chi, through the meridians of the body. Therefore they are very complimentary to one another. Reiki enhance a practitioners overall results and is not over stimulating for the animal being treated. In fact combining Reiki with acupuncture helps patients relax and balance their system more efficiently. If treatments are combined patients would not need as many treatments in the long run. This will also benefit the clients in that they will receive maximum benefits, cut down on cost, time and there may be no need for medications!
Reiki is also beneficial combined with other holistic treatments such as message, acupressure, laser therapy and aromatherapy to name a few. An advantage to integrating several healing modalities as pain prevention or management will decreased the need for harsh medicines, along with their potential for negative side effects. Plus your animal will increase their feeling of overall well-being! If you have not experienced energy healing for your pet you may be amazed at how rewarding it feels to be a part of offering such a powerful, yet gentile and caring energetic healing treatments.

As I have been performing Reiki Sessions for animals their owners have seen the benefits first hand of how Reiki cleanses and balances their animals system as a whole.
During a Reiki session healing comes in many ways. The negative toxic vibrations of the individual whether they be of a physical, emotional, mental or spiritual nature will be stirred up and brought to the surface to be removed from the animals system. Most animals have a sense of peace and wellbeing after a Reiki session. While some have symptoms of detoxification, and may feel worse before they feel better.
Some owners are weary that the Reiki may not have worked. Remember that your animals do not get in their unwell condition overnight. It may take several sessions to see improvement or notice a difference while their system rebalances. Regardless of how your pet may respond initially to receiving a Reiki treatment your pet will thank you once the Reiki has balanced, cleansed and restored their system!

Ever since I was a young girl I have felt great care, love and compassion toward animals. I have taken in and cared for abandoned, orphaned, sick, hurt and lost animals. I have sought out many ways to care for all of the animals that have come my way through use of Western Medicine to Holistic. I have tried to find the best ways to naturally help heal and maintain the animals overall health.
I stumbled upon Reiki for Humans, and thought it would be a wonderful holistic compliment to try Reiki Sessions on animals. Reiki for animals is not very widely known, but Human Reiki has had such great success it is finding its way into hospitals, cancer centers and even AIDS clinics.
Since my discovery of the ancient form of healing I have become a Certified Usui Reiki Practitioner. I have adapted my Reiki practice to be for animals. When performing Reiki on an animal my approach is much different than if I performed Reiki on a human. Since animals cannot talk we must have a more humbling approach toward our care to the animal as a whole.
The Animal Reiki Sessions that I provide are all unique for each animal. I have provided Animal Reiki Session that induce great relaxation, emotional healing, reduction in pain & inflammation, accelerated healing, support for the dying process, plus much more. I have found that Reiki for animals is gentile, non-invasive, stress free, and compliments any healing modality. Which is wonderful for animals that may be overly aggressive or skittish.
With such great success with Animal Reiki I have founded Anireiki. My first company built on the love and care for animals. I have experienced the benefits of Reiki for Animals, and I look forward to bringing my holistic healing practice into your home to provide the support your animal needs to feel their best.
